In the rare event that MicroCon 27: EU is cancelled in its entirety, you will receive a full refund of your ticket purchase. If the event is rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, venue-related issues, or events beyond our control), you will have the option to either attend the new date or receive a full refund.

MicroCon 27: EU Code of Conduct

At MicroCon 27: EU, we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all attendees—regardless of nationality (real or imagined), background, beliefs, or regalia. To maintain the integrity, safety, and comfort of the event, all guests, speakers, vendors, and volunteers must adhere to the following Code of Conduct.

Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the event, without refund.

General Rules

  • Respect is non-negotiable. Disruptive behavior of any kind—verbal interruptions, loud arguments, or disrespectful conduct—will not be tolerated.
  • Be courteous. Treat fellow attendees, staff, presenters, and venue personnel with basic human decency and good manners at all times.
  • No fighting—verbal or physical. This is a gathering of micronations, not a battlefield. Any altercation will be addressed swiftly and may lead to expulsion.
  • No illegal substances. The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
  • No smoking indoors. Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas.
  • No harassment. Harassment of any kind—including unwelcome physical contact, sexual harassment, intimidation, or targeted abuse—will not be tolerated.
  • Respect personal boundaries. Do not touch people, their costumes, or their belongings without permission.
  • Costumes and regalia must be appropriate. Attire that is overly revealing, offensive, or incites hate will not be permitted.
  • No weapons, real or replica, unless approved by event staff. Peace-bonding may be required for certain costumes or displays.
  • Badge Policy: All attendees must wear their official MicroCon 27 badge clearly and visibly at all times while inside the conference venue. This is a security requirement. Individuals without visible, valid credentials will be asked to leave immediately. No exceptions.
  • Do Not Feed the Flamingos. We know they look like they need snacks. They don’t. Last time someone slipped one a cracker, it unionized and demanded a corner office and dental. These birds are already dramatic enough—don’t make it worse.

Enforcement Policy

  • First Violation: You will receive a warning from event staff.
  • Second Violation: You will be asked to leave the premises for the day.
  • Third Violation: You will be permanently removed from MicroCon 27: EU and barred from re-entering any associated activities for the remainder of the weekend.
  • Immediate Removal: Any physical altercation or harassment may result in immediate expulsion from the event without prior warning or refund.

Our Right to Refuse Service

Event organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any individual from the event at their discretion, with or without warning, if they believe the Code of Conduct has been violated or the individual poses a risk to the safety or well-being of others.

Reporting Issues

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact event staff immediately. We will handle all concerns discreetly and with the utmost seriousness.
